I have a BSc(Hons) in AI&CS and an MSc in CS from Edinburgh University and am brewing up to starting a part-time PhD...

Founder and maintainer of the Gallery (http://gallery.hd.org/) set up to be a pro-bono provider of free images for Web (and other) use by various contributors. The Gallery attracts several million visitors a year and probably just about breaks even financially (though more bandwidth, etc, would always be welcome, naturally).

ExNet provides consultancy services from one-man-bands to multinationals, especially in the merchant-banking sector. Clients include BP, Nomura, Lehman Brothers, RBS.
ExNet was one of the first ISPs in the UK, and supports many "pro bono" public services such as NTP (network time protocol) servers and sponsors the DHD Multimedia Gallery http://gallery.hd.org/
I manage ExNet and I am a consultant to ExNet's clients.
