Head of ICT at St Benedict's School
London, United Kingdom
I have led ICT teaching in a variety of schools since 1996. I am passionate about the use of technology in education and therefore encourage teachers to take a risk and try to use collaborative tools in the classroom.
Computers provide excellent tools for learning and I always try to keep a realistic approach to accessibility in the classroom and practical application in the wider curriculum.
I am frustrated to see schools not embracing technology to deliver their agenda and connect with their community of teachers, pupils and parents.
It is always my goal to add value to my workplace and to inspire as many people as possible. Schools are better because of technology but you have to build a practical working model that enables inclusion for all.
