Dagmar is the owner and Managing Director of AlphaJade, a private IT company based in South Australia, specialising in the Professional development of IT practitioners as well as Recruitment and strategic Resourcing for the technology sector.
Until July 2006, Dagmar was the Regional General Manager of KAZ and formerly Aspect Computing - one of Australia’s oldest and largest Information Technology Companies.
In 1996 Dagmar became South Australia’s first female Fellow of the Australian Computer Society.
Dagmar was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2001 Honours list. “For service to Education, Information Technology, Multicultural Affairs and State Development in South Australia”
In May 2002 Dagmar was awarded an honorary Doctorate of the University of SA for services in the field of Information Technology and Business Management.
Dagmar has served the wider community on a number of Boards and Committees including; Deputy Chancellor of the University of SA, Member of the South Australian Development Council, Chairman of the Passenger Transport Board, Chairman of the Australian Space Centre, a founding member of the Multicultural Forum, Vice President of the SA Womens Trust, and member of the Federal Government IR&D Board’s IT committee. Currently she is on the Board of Alcidion Corporation and is also serving on several Government advisory boards including SA Govt’s Information Economy Advisory Board and TAS Govt’s MAPPS Assessment Panel.
