Metaplace Community Manager, a.k.a. Cuppycake
Greater San Diego Area
I have been infatuated and supportive of the online gaming industry for as long as I can remember the internet existing (I'm young enough that I barely remember there not being internet...). I've been playing, living, and breathing massively multiplayer games since my introduction to Everquest in 1999. Since then, I have stepped in and experienced most every other MMO on the market.
I am currently working in my dream job in the gaming and web industry. I'm a huge supporter of the idea that until massive games are really accessible by everyone with a device that can connect with the web - we really have no idea how big this industry can be. Connecting people together via digital means is something that I am infatuated with - which is why I have fallen into community management as my field of expertise.
The growth and maintenance of online communities is my specialty. I expect to be working in a position where I am able to interact directly with end users for a long time to come.
Forum moderation and administration, public relations, interviews, achievement system creation, design document writing, dev chats, mailing lists, contests, travel coordination.
