I am a freelance multimedia journalist in Philadelphia, Pa. I graduated summa cum laude from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in American studies.
At Temple, I was the editor in chief of The Temple News, the award-winning student newspaper. I helped to bring audio and video to a newly designed Web site, named by Editor & Publisher and Mediaweek magazines as the best college newspaper Web site in the country. My work has been rewarded with two Keystone Press Awards and recognition from UWIRE as one of the top 100 college journalists in the country.
During my college years, I’ve held two news internships with two local O&O TV stations — CBS3 and Fox 29 — and one marketing internship with SEPTA, Philadelphia’s public transportation system.
A native of the Philadelphia area, I have always been drawn to the city. I have been fortunate to live and report in one of the most interesting cities in the country (not to mention the fourth-largest media market).
