Christopher Little’s Summary
Award-winning business veteran accomplished in every aspect of measurable strategic and tactical marketing.
Expertise includes: creating and pegging company and product brand awareness; advertising and collateral concept, development and deployment; competition and marketplace investigation and analysis; PR campaign development and execution; product definition and competitive positioning, pricing models; trade show concepts and management; sales support; RFP/RFQ submissions; market research; design of superior direct mail and telemarketing programs.
I've done end-to-end marketing: I have managed the soup-to-nuts realities of start-ups but I have also successfully worked at large companies with large staffs, external, global PR firms, multi-million dollar promotions and more.
Everything gets measured and evaluated (I'm the kind of manager who, when someone is trying to convince me and says there are "well, there are lots of examples", will ask the person to "name six"). I also love intelligent push back (i.e., let's confirm assumptions by bringing them out).
My philosophy on strategic vision: if it resonates, you'll eventually hear it echoed back to you. In other words, if it has traction, you will find people adopting it without realizing it was invented.
My philosophy on expenses: Keep all marketing as humanly measurable as possible; for example, the dollar and time cost of a lead through every step (from contact to conversion to closure).
I thrive on new developments and challenges.
Christopher Little’s Experience
-
Vice President of Marketing
Loftware, Inc.
(Privately Held; Computer Software industry)
2006 — 2009 (3 years )
Responsible for all marketing activities at this global provider of software for the creation and centralized management, including large systems integration, of all variety of commercial and retail goods labeling – barcodes, RFID and more – for this privately-held, expansion stage company. I transformed brand and sales with elevated messaging to build up the brand image and presence, coordinated use of Web 2.0 tools with sales leads with a complete makeover of all collateral and presentation materials. Conducted a very successful ‘buzz’ viral marketing program that resulted in phenomenal SEO results. Making barcoded labels compelling was a personal challenge when I took this position; check it out: start with the website at www.loftware.com and the blog at www.loftwareblog.com. Active participant on the GS1 standards (specifically, GTIN) committee.

Personal activities: wrote an action / adventure novel; competed in the International Songwriter's Competition (runner-up in 3 creative categories out of a field, I am told, of over 30,000 contenders) to win an unclaimed music diploma) and spent a lot of joyous time with my newest daughter.
