Cynthia Samuels’s Summary
After many years as a broadcast news producer and executive, I moved to the Internet as a website consultant and producer. Currently my practice involves blogs and bloggers. My own blog and my years as a journalist and at iVillage helped to breed a real sense of connection to American society, particularly women.
I was part of the early days at many landmark companies including Amazon.com, Excite.com and iVillage.com and attended early meetings beginning with the UCLA Superhighway Summit, Digital World and Siggraph. I have a deep affection for the Interent and what it means and have never regretted leaving television to work online. My goal is to continue to work online as the medium evolves. The rate of change is thrilling and offers many opportunities.
