The ever increasing complex economical, social and financial stress individuals, couples, and families are under right now are unprecedented in our lifetime. I strongly believe the full consequences of these stressors has yet to be felt or realized and we are by no means whatsoever through the worst of the fear and pain. Fortunately there is proven and effective care, as well as support, available from trained professionals like myself who have dedicated our lives to being of service to those in need.
Having been successful with a wide variety of socio-economic clients with a variety of presenting problems over the years, I am highly confident I can be of significant service to any LinkedIn members or referrals you may send my way. In fact over the years, my practice has largely expanded mainly by means of satisfied referrals. If I can't provide the needed service I always do my very best to make an appropriate and useful referral.
Thus, recognizing quality and effective care from a licensed and experienced professional can be challenging to find and afford in Hawaii, I've shifted my practice from Life Coaching and solely private pay clients (while I worked for companies here in Hawaii) to full-time private practice accepting the vast majority of insurance companies in Hawaii.
My practice providing services on line, "e-therapy"or "online counseling" , will remain private pay as insurance companies have not yet made online therapy a reimbursable service. I am cautiously hopeful this will change in the not so far future as HMSA as initiated online services with many of their medical providers!
