I am responsible for the sales targets and contribution margin; I select and train sales staff; I decide on marketing activities and manage the marketing budget for the development of the various markets. I study market trends and check on the positioning of direct competitors co-operating with the Product Manager in creating new products and new collections. I am responsible for one Italian Sales Manager (responsible for 11 sole agents) and two Export Area Managers dealing directly with the sales in the foreign markets. I run a back office with 5 salespeople dealing with customers’ orders and aftersales service.
