Cris Olariu’s Summary
Born and raised in Iasi, Romania, Cris Olariu’s first job in the industry was at the age of 15 - as a grip for a local production company. Working his way up to camera operator, Cris moved to the United States where he majored in Cinematography at the Colorado Film School. Having served as the Director of Photography on numerous student projects, short subjects and commercials in Denver, Cris has recently relocated to the Los Angeles area to pursue his craft. Characterizing his style as the synthesis of ‘motion and color’, Cris has earned high praise for his professionalism and efficiency and would make a strong addition to any camera crew.
