Life's full of surprises; some are welcomed, some aren't. The difference lies in how we deal with the unwelcome ones.
All problems can be modified, if not fixed.

November 2007 — Present (2 years 1 month)
I began work at PolymerOhio with intentions to develop my skills in the business aspect of the engineering world. I am developing my project management skills and learning a great deal about the consulting and business development world. In fact, this position has inspired me to consider pursuing a future in the development/management arena.

January 2004 — October 2007 (3 years 10 months)
I began working as a part-time lab technician, performing tests and assembling equipment. My last two years consisted of full-time work with CAD/Design duties. I would still help with assembly/prototyping duties in the shop, when needed. But my work mostly consisted of designing/drawing new parts or retrofitting pieces to OEM equipment for prototypes. The assembly included anything from testing apparatuses to large piping/valve assemblies, and consisted of fabricating brackets and custom pipe to bolting together large assemblies, to insulating and jacketing pipe assemblies. My CAD responsibilities consisted of drawing/designing assemblies, wiring schematics, and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). I am also trained in 3D modeling with Autodesk Inventor.
