Craig Jones’s Summary
My 28-year career as a software architect, developer, and consultant is currently focused on "Web 2.0" development (Ajax, social networking). At Maxim Software Corp, my associates and I rely on agile development techniques and solid architectural principles to build highly functional, robust and trustworthy systems.
My experience is mostly in the e-commerce, accounting, manufacturing, retail, banking, and supply-chain domains. I have also produced dozens of tools and frameworks used by other developers, including a workbench that was bundled with a Borland product that sold 250,000 copies. I am the author of dozens of published articles, and I have traveled the world as a lecturer, trainer and "marksman troubleshooter."

Agile development (XP, Scrum) as applied to the creation of Java web-based applications using Hibernate, Spring, etc.
Currently leading the charge for our clients with Java-based apps to adopt Grails (i.e. Groovy on Rails), which is now at version 1.0. We're seeing a 10-fold increase in productivity by using GSP/Groovy over JSP/Java, and that factor is only going to improve with practice, and as Grails moves beyond 1.0.
