Over the past ten years I have developed an exceptional understanding of Internet, Intranet, Multimedia Technologies and how to apply it to maximum effect for business. I am a focused leader, self-starter with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments and the ability to communicate at various levels. I have extensive knowledge of web2.0 technologies and have been involved in developing social media and product strategies for our global brand. My current position as Global Webmaster is to manage the global CMS platform and e-commerce technologies, developing strategic web based product applications and content strategies in order to keep our companies online channels up to date in a highly competitive market. I also act as a coordinator and oversees the activities of local webmaster's in over 15 countries, supporting their business requirements and technical issues . I also manage a central team of developers, CMS administrators and communication managers. My key objective is to identify and develop improved web technology methods to increase our travel product conversions online. I play a key role in advising the CEO and other senior management on current web trends and plan product strategies within our online web and other sales channels. During my time at STA Travel i have managed to bring STA Travel web technology up to a high standard with cutting edge and award winning developments.
