Since 1998, have acquired real-world experience in the applied field of Industrial-Organizational Psychology (e.g., employee selection, recruitment, talent management, leadership development, employee testing, and organizational surveys) both within organizations and as a consultant. My area of expertise is assessment development and implementation for personnel selection and employee development.

Before that worked at the Employee Relations Department at the City of Miami, was an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at F.I.U., a Program Manager at the Assessment Center in School of Justice at Miami-Dade College (developing pre-employment and managerial assessment centers), adjunct consultant for Skiversity Inc (developed 3 computer-based basic ability tests), and Statistical Consultant at F.I.U.'s Statistical Consulting Department (statistical consulting for academic faculty's research).
Interesting tidbit about me: Before I worked in the HR and I-O Psychology field I sold residential real estate, and I enjoy meeting people that are active in real estate investing.

The client was the Assessment Center at the Miami-Dade College's School of Justice. Once the project was done, I was hired by the Assessment Center to be a Program Manager.

Acted as internal consultant, met with clients (faculty, doctoral students, and masters students) to discuss their research projects and assist them with research methods, survey design, and statistical analyses. Frequently conducted the client's statistical analyses on their collected data using SPSS or SAS statistical software. Instructed clients on their research procedures and research writing. Assisted the clients with interpreting the statistical results from technical jargon into common English terminology. Wrote statistical programs to compute statistical analyses and read scantron bubble answer sheet data into statistical software packages (e.g. SPSS and SAS).
