Orange Games Community Management Team Leader at Goa Games Services Ltd
Ireland
My studies in history and journalism in the Sorbonne university taught me to pay attention and to get to the bottom of things.
After some time in mainstream journalism, I embarked in the adventure gaming industry as the editor-in-chief of a French roleplaying games magazine called Backstab, where I previously used to write scenarios and game aids. I also used to freelance with a number of publishers of rpg books. This position gave me the chance to broaden my knowledge of games and gameplay of all kinds.
I then joined Goa Games, the European online games company publishing in Europe both MMOs (Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer: Age of Reckoning) and free-to-play games. I took part in the writing of many items including a version of the WAR manual and the UI texts of multiple websites, plus many background stories. Later, I took the helm of the community management team for the Chaîne Jeux Orange, the French casual games portal.
