I was brought back on with BBH to enhance a product demo for a multi-million dollar product replacement.

November 2006 — March 2009 (2 years 5 months)
My primary function at BBH was maintaining client-side demos of BBH's Web-based products. While enhancing BBH's static demos, I developed a JavaScript framework for temporary data persistence and cross-frame/-window scripting. I reimplemented server-side
code on the client side for a full-featured, interactive representation of all BBH's products. I've gained in-depth product knowledge with little to no product training.
While developing my department's Intranet site, I designed and developed a custom JavaScript-based document search engine, created an AutoComplete search suggestions feature, with data fetched with Ajax. In order to surface content from tools used throughout the firm, such as IBM Lotus Quickr, to the new site, I implemented an RSS/Atom feed aggregator with the aid of the Dojo JavaScript Toolkit.
In addition to these two areas of focus, using the Ext JS cross-browser JavaScript library, I developed an interactive prototype to use during client usability sessions.

While I was with Dr. Dan's Cat Hospital, I set up and maintained the hospital's network infrastructure by running network wiring/cabling through drop-ceilings and walls, setting up an IPv4/IPv6 LAN, and configuring an 802.11g wireless network. As a cost-cutting measure, I fabricated all network cables in-house by cutting and crimping connectors onto all cables as needed.
I also designed the hospital Web site's initial site tree and layout using W3C-compliant, cross-browser XHTML and CSS. Whenever I had the need to create graphics for the Web site, I used the GNU Image Manipulation Program, aka "The GIMP". I hosted the Web site on a self-administered, Debian GNU/Linux dedicated server and managed the hospital's Web presence (search engines, business directories, etc.).
