Job Title: Sr. Power Supply Design Engineer
Reports To: Engineering & Quality Manager
Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Technical Req:
•BSEE, MSEE preferred
•5+ years of power electronics design experience.
•Extensive knowledge of high frequency switching power supply topologies, power factor correction, and control architectures.
•Specific power conversion design skills include: high frequency magnetics design, power conversion circuit design and analysis, circuit simulation, layout considerations, feedback control theory, EMC and Safety agency compliance, and logic/interface circuit design, Digital control experience desirable.
Responsibilities:
•Use electrical expertise to design, develop, and enhance low cost power solutions.
•Design elements include power factor correction, converter design, uController algorithm development, EMI filtering, transient protection, analog design, component selection, simulation/test, PCB layout, and product functional specification.
•Participate as a key team member from product conception through manufacturing production.
•Provides overall project planning including development schedules, generating test and qualification plans, and originating the objective specifications.
•Oversees the generation of the full documentation package for all products designed.
•Provide technical leadership to engineering staff and direct day-to-day activities for engineering aide (technicians).
•Interface with internal organizations and external customers.
•Other job related duties as assigned by your manager.
