ITP Resident Researcher at New York University
Greater New York City Area
I have been a web application development developer and user interface designer for about 15 years, but I am also a capable web server administrator. Most of my was on presentation layer development, with supplemental server-side and database development and maintenance duties. I have made decisions on hardware and software purchasing decisions, as well as other management-level decisions...from procuring vendors to hosting and connectivity for an entire organization.
In my semi-professional life, I consider myself a technology advisor. I am well versed in many aspects of technology and how they can be integrated into our lives. I have assisted in a number of my colleagues online identities, as well as a few personal creative projects.
I am currently a student at the Tisch School of Arts Interactive Telecommuncations Program (ITP) at NYU, where I hope to broaden technical, creative, and collaborative skills. I am a candidate for graduation in 2009. Some of my notable projects at ITP are the "Infinity Mirrored Room: LEDs Forever", "The Naked Pixel", "The Peggy Lite-Brite", and most recently, the "Kickbee".
