I do this through one to one work - coaching, editing, providing writing support, offering teaching tips and strategies. And I do it through my own writing, providing thoughts, ideas and insights into how we can learn to write with confidence

10 years experience of working with the civil service taught me the importance of writing that is: accurate, brief, concise. It matters within an organisation of this size - because we need to communicate with each other day in, day out, and people are drowning in information overload. And it matters because of the communication with the public: explaining in clear, simple terms what policies and services are about and why they matter
