Research and Development on embedded systems and monitoring tools. Mainly efforts on Rabbit Semiconductor (http://www.rabbitsemiconductor.com) and Siemens Wireless Modules (http://www.siemens.com) Solutions to develop devices for power measurement and control, this devices use serial channels, ethernet and GPRS data link to send and receive data or configurations. Therefore, there are implementations of ModBus, PPP, HTTP, FTP, SNTP and others protocols developed for the device. Other thread of development are the desktop applications in Visual C++ to communicate with the devices through ethernet or serial channels using ModBus Protocol, and SCADA development to acquire data from the devices and integrate with others OPC Systems.
Coordination activities are done to keep the development task updated with the company directives and necessities. -
