Collin Udell’s appellate practice focuses on United States Supreme Court litigation and on complex or novel issues arising in other federal appeals. In the last two years, Collin participated in seven cases before the U.S. Supreme Court at the merits stage (five representing parties and two representing amicus curiae) and six more cases at the certiorari stage. Her background in federal appellate practice has allowed her to represent clients in a wide variety of appeals, including matters involving financial services, bankruptcy, statutory interpretation, labor and employment, intellectual property, securities, environmental litigation, complex commercial litigation, civil rights, and the First Amendment.
Collin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Bruce M. Selya at the U.S. Court of Appeals, First Circuit, the Honorable José A. Cabranes at the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, and the Honorable Robert N. Chatigny at the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut.
Collin has also taught criminal law at the University of Connecticut School of Law.
