Daniel Collico Savio’s Summary

Experience of about fifteen years in IT, Telcos and Oil companies, in Marketing & Sales, Technical and Content areas and eclectic education: a degree on Physics and a couple of Business and Laws postgraduate studies which -so to speak- balanced my profile.

From time to time I have lectured abroad, and got to know some colleagues from Europe and US. While these colleagues would like my strive for new ventures and this touch of Argentine flavour; I would rather envy their resources and previsibility.

Three consecutive years as Broadband Manager for Speedy, 100% CAGR from 2003 to 2006, in spite of Argentine economic breakdown. Thanks to Telefonica I learnt a lot about both both sides of story, be creative regards P/S but cope with contradiction and restrictions. In the end I might have grasped most of the Internet, Telcos and Content tips from the last decade.

After leaving Telefonica, I took a four months sabbatical, moved to Chacarita, and became IT Manager for Educ.Ar where social media, CMS development and OLPC initiative were big words. Now, from Sept-07 I help cVidya in supporting Revenue Assurance projects in LatAm, and from time to time I manage to keep the light of Snark trainings alive.
