Having initially dabbled in writing personal websites a few years ago, I became interested in developing dynamic websites for healthcare applications in 2004. I have developed a number of Emergency Department intranet and extranet websites, and have developed a lightweight but scaleable content-management system to enable site administrators to update their own content.

I have a basic working knowledge of xhtml, CSS, php, and SQL - preferring the MySQL platform. I am a firm believer in open-source software and will never again waste time learning languages or software sold by the marketing giant.
