Coenraad Heijdemann’s Summary

Since 1988, I have made a living as an interpreter (conference interpreter) and translator of English and Dutch. Although my career initially started in the travel industry, a stay of several years in the United Kingdom and subsequent return to the Netherlands eventually led to a career that enabled me to use my language skills.

I am a certified conference interpreter and translator (sworn translator, to be exact), and have also specialised in terminology management, localisation of software and web sites.

Al meer dan twintig jaar verdien ik de kost als tolk-vertaler (congrestolk en vertaler) Engels en Nederlands. Hoewel ik mijn carrière aanvankelijk in de reisbranche ben begonnen, leidden een meerjarig verblijf in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en mijn terugkeer naar Nederland uiteindelijk tot een carrière waarbij ik mijn taalcapaciteiten kon gebruiken.

Ik ben gediplomeerd congrestolk en vertaler (beëdgd vertaler, om heel precies te zijn) en heb mij bovendien gespecialiseerd in terminologiebeheer en localisation van websites en software.
