Cody Horton is the Director of Campus and Diversity Recruiting at Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Prior to Wal-Mart, Cody led the Diversity Recruiting, University Relations and Professional Services Recruiting teams at Dell. Before joining Dell, Cody was the National Diversity Recruiting Manager for Deloitte Services LP and was responsible for creating and implementing recruiting strategies for building a more diverse and inclusive workforce. Prior to Deloitte, he served over 5 years at Microsoft where he worked as an Enterprise Technical Support Manager, Senior Technical Recruiter and Diversity Staffing Consultant. Cody started his career in the US Navy where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander and served in a variety of leadership, recruiting, and operational roles. Cody earned a Masters of Science in Management (Information Technology) from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico.
