Ben Helps’s Summary

For the last 10 or so years I have been employed (and self-employed) in systems administration, DBA and applications programmer roles.

I now run my own mobile and online retail pet supplies business (wigglebum.com.au), and continue to perform IT work on a freelance basis.

Ben Helps’s Specialties:

My paid experience in IT focuses on Microsoft technologies (e.g. .NET, SQL Server, ASP, MS servers). My passion for Linux has forged my skillset in this area, and I am well versed in "neutral" web technologies such as XSL, XHTML/CSS and Javascript.

My pet industry experience is in dog showing & breeding. While we had no retail experience prior to starting our pet supplies store it has been (and continues to be) an enjoyable journey.
