Knowledgeable Sales & Marketing Consultant w/ Knack for Simplifying Complexities

I was groomed to be Dad's clone--except for the cigar. "My kid", future President of his large retail chain --a leader in using shopping carts for general merchandise & stuffing catalogs into your Sunday paper. Instead, I became a lawyer.
Spec. Asst. Atty General Steinberg got Chicago banks to capitulate on 15,000 check fraud cases considered unresolvable. I supervised six lawyers and did extensive trial work before leaving to represent the alleged mastermind of the then-biggest bank heist in U.S. history--but that's another story.
For the next 10 years, my husband and I owned a niche transport brokerage business grossing $3 million in the first year. Good marketing. Good service. Unfortunately, neither our marriage nor the business survived a prolonged downturn.
On to Northern Cal where you'd be surprised what you can learn selling $450/case wines to people on the phone. My brand, "Liz Corelli the Wine Lady " was a rousing success-- and a lot of fun!
An opportunity for a turn in my career came with “The Black Envelope Campaign” with Steve Arnold from Patterson Dental. It was a gutsy, direct mail effort resulting in 2-SRO seminars and the sale of sixty-$90,000 pieces of equipment over a single weekend. When the program was purchased for national rollout, I used the time/money to learn internet marketing. My proposal to move into webinars was considered too radical in 2003. Imagine.
Law, management, marketing and sales honed my abilities in competitive research, writing and strategy development, sales, team management and computer program design. I'm good at noodling over ways to refine message and finding ways to increase sales. . . a family inheritance.
I'm most inspired when I get the opportunity to team with people marketing products and services practically grounded in high ideals while aiming for sustainable, humane outcomes.
If you fit that description, I'd love to hear from you.
