  My job was to design and implement technology related to the Satellite Communications field. In designing systems I came up with a nearly automated earth based system by simply combining existing technology. This design made my position outdated and non-needed. I designed myself right out of a job without knowing it.

I was usually the on-site project manager along with at least one other English speaking person from my company. We hired local laborers who usually spoke little English to help us complete the job. It was an exciting and fun job, but I worked 70-100 hours a week all outside in any condition. I got to do very little sight seeing on my jobs. It was my first job and it lead into my Design Engineer job in the sister company.
