1986 - "Jugend Forscht Wettbewerb" - 1. Landessieger Schleswig-Holstein (Project "3D-Chemistry")
The project was about the software development and implementation to show any 3D molecular structures in computer animated models. At that time there was no software available at that 'low-end' computer market for which the software package was developed (Apple II and C64). The routines displayed the molecules in real-time and supported an interactive rotation change. 3D viewable printouts used with a special glass enabled a dimensionally display of the structures. The software was later published by Klett-Cotta Verlag for the Apple II, to be used at schools.
