Chris Palmisano is head of account management for Google Cloud Platform in the US Central region and Canada. He and his team work with global accounts ranging from startups to large enterprises ensuring their success leveraging Google Cloud Platform solutions in compute, storage, big data and application services and driving product direction based on customer feedback.

Prior to Google, Chris held a variety of leadership roles at Humana Inc (Fortune 100 healthcare company) focused on strategic partner development and new business development. He was a project manager for the team that launched Humana Europe in London.

Chris served ten years as a marine officer with assignments on active duty and in the reserves. He’s an Iraq War veteran and is currently a regional captain in the Google Veterans Network (an employee resource group at Google). He helps vets make their transition out of the military, speaks about the military and Google, and helps make Google an awesome place to work for vets. See for a Live TV interview.

Chris holds an MBA in Finance, Beta Gamma Sigma, from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School, an MS in Information Systems from Boston University's Department of Computer Science, and a BS in Management Information Systems from Rochester Institute of Technology. He holds a US patent in mobile computing and several Google Developer qualifications. He works for Google in Austin.
