Yoga Instructor
Flirts Fitness
(Health, Wellness and Fitness industry)
April 2008 — November 2008 (8 months)
Catherine's first experiences with yoga were as a small child, watching local legend Lilian Folan on PBS with her mother. As an adult, Catherine turned to yoga to release the pressures of the professional world, and found that practicing with an experienced instructor brought greater depth and enjoyment to her practice. Over the last 10 years, yoga has helped Catherine find peace, heal from a skiing injury and lose nearly 100lbs. Owing to the incredible changes that the practice has made in her life, Catherine is committed to a two-year Anusara Yoga intensive and teacher training program, under the guidance of Certified Anusara Instructors Wendy Andersen, Rosanna Juncos, and Shalini LaTour.
Yoga Groove is a blending of Anusara Yoga influences and Catherine's love of movement and dance. Learn the principles of alignment through warm-up postures (asana) as you prepare for an invigorating vinyasa (flow) of postures. -
