Fund Raising Consultant and Race Director

This is what I do: I help nonprofit organzations assess their current situation (usually a feasibility study and/or fundraising audit), build strategic fundraising and communication plans, train staff and board members, cultivate key stakeholders, and assist with implementation. I've done this dozens of times for small- and medium-sized nonprofits across the country.
I have participated as campaign counsel in a number of major gift and leadership campaigns, helping to secure gifts as large as $450,000. I'm currently working for the Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery as they prepare for a national capital campaign for preservation and renovation. Birger Sandzén was a Swedish immigrant to the U.S. in the late 19th century and become one of the most prolific and appreciated artists of his time.
My goals are to continue to serve small- and medium-sized nonprofits and to provide opportunities for youth and adults to get outside and lead healthy lives.
One of my specialties is helping nonprofits organize and prepare for their first capital or annual fund raising campaign. I'm also a USA Triathlon Certified Race Director with experience in creating and maintaining excellent, well-organized events.
