I was recruited to A.G. Edwards from Morgan Stanley. At the time they offered a broad spectrum of investment products and services to help my clients, great research, and they did not have any proprietary products. . It was a great experience and helped broaden my horizons. I left because I wanted to start my own business. This gave me the freedom to offer Comprehensive Wealth Management custom tailored to each clients needs.

I was recruited to Morgan Stanley from Bank America Investment Services. At the time they offered a broader spectrum of investment products and services to help my clients. It was a great experience. I left because I wanted to work for a firm that offered independent research and did not try to influence advisors into using proprietary products. At that time, some of their proprietary mutual funds had a track record of under performing their peer groups.

I was a branch manager back in the days when a branch manager had the loan authority to make small business loans and make credit decisions for it's customers. I helped with the financing of commercial loans and lines of credit, commercial real estate loans, SBA loans, merchant card services and payroll. I worked one on one with our preferred clients to give them personal assistance with all of their banking needs. My hard worked earned me promotions to larger and larger branches and the Circle of Excellence award with Security Pacific Bank prior to their merger with Bank of America. I successfuly merged a Security Pacific Bank branch and a Bank of America branch during their merger. Both Chairman of the Boards, Robert Smith and Dick Rosenberg, visited my branch to thank me and the staff for our hard work. In 1993 I transitioned over to Bank America Investment Services to help our High Networth Clients with their investment needs.

I helped run the Closely Held Business Unit of the Trust Department. We were responsible for managing closely held business interest held in the trust. I was specifically responsible for the financial analysis and performing business valuations for the closely held businesses. I performed business valuations for small to mid size businesses throughout the United States. I never had a business valuation that was overturned in or out of court. This became a substantial revenue source for the Trust Department and resulted in our department converting from a cost center to a profit center.

I was responsible for making commercial loans to small business owners throughout the western United States that had been affected by natural disasters. I earned Congressional recognition and the U.S. Small Business Outstanding Achievment Award for helping out farmers and local business owners that were effected by drought. I helped fisherman in Alaska and the west coast that have been effected by El Nino. Thousands of small business owners have financed with the assistance of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

I worked in Accounting and Finance during my five years in the Air Force. During this time I tried to "Be All You Can Be". This afforded me the opportunity to complete my college education and gain valuable experience. This is where I got my start in giving financial advice. I helped with financial counseling and budgeting for other members of the Air Force that were having financial difficulty. I volunteered to be in the USAF Honor Guard and the Drum and Bugle Corp. My achievements earned me advance promotions and the "Air Force Commendation Medal". I am proud to have served my country.
