I have been a member of the lobby&advocacy team hired by UN for The Journey Home project which was responding to the health emergency resulting from the critical blood lead levels in the three affected camps: Zitkovac, Cesmin Lug, and Kablare. The main objective was to get all residents of these camps new lodging in a safe, clean, and hospitable new location, the former French facility in Mitrovica, Osterode.
As being the only one of the 5 members team who was not a Kosovo citizen, my role was to offer an outside and as much as objective point of view of the discussions and of the way the project was going.
