Christopher J L Cunningham, Ph.D.’s Summary
My primary role is as an Assistant Professor and graduate faculty member in the department of psychology at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I teach courses in organizational and occupational health psychology, organizational development and change, and quantitative/qualitative research methods to graduate students in our MS program in industrial-organizational psychology. I also teach research methods and assessment development to undergraduate psychology majors. My secondary professional role is as an independent consultant privately and through my role as Director of Measurement Services at The Solution Group. My consulting experience spans multiple private and public, profit and non-profit organizations.
I am also engaged in research, primarily with an eye to occupational health psychology topics such as workers' needs for recovery from stressful work, the influence of individual differences in personality and fitness on the stress process, and issues regarding work-nonwork role integrations.
