Chuck manages Cisco relationships with media and entertainment partners.
Chuck has broad media and entertainment experience - from 1997 to 2007, he created and produced new radio ventures for Clear Channel, Bloomberg, CNET Networks and the Wall Street Journal.
Chuck is also an independent musician who toured with the funk band George Clinton & The P-Funk All Stars in the mid nineties. In his spare time, he continues to collaborate with that group and he utilizes digital media platforms promote his own music made with a band known as fONKSQUISh. Chuck has been a member of the digital music networking group Pho since 1999, and he continues to remain engaged and excited by everything that is going on with digital music and media.
As part of his work at Cisco, Chuck participates in several tech media oriented consortiums and committees including the IAB Digital Video Committee, the IAB UGC and Social Networking Committee, and the Entertainment and Technology Center at USC.
Chuck holds a B.A. in Geography / Cartography from the University of Colorado and practiced in the GIS / digital mapping space before he started his passionate media and technology career.

Overview - Manages Cisco relationships with media and entertainment partners. Joined Cisco in December 2006, participating in the launch of Cisco's business unit, the Cisco Media Solutions Group (CMSG) - http://cisco.com/go/media . CMSG develops and delivers the Cisco Eos social entertainment platform to media and entertainment partners.
Project Management - Within three weeks of joining the CMSG team, organized 16 Media and Entertainment partnership meetings at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2007. Arranged meetings, hospitality and M&E facing events for Cisco at CES 2008 and CES 2009.
Digital Media Program Development - Managed the 2nd year of Cisco's participation in the mtvU Digital Incubator Program - a grant program that offers a national platform to pioneer the next generation of digital applications and content. See - http://digitalincubator.net (Over 3M page views + 150k unique visitors to the site) + press - http://bit.ly/digitalincubator2 + Oversaw execution of ~$500k mtvU sponsorship by Cisco + worked with student teams from NYU, Brown, MIT, USC to develop digital media business plans and manage projects. Co-managed press efforts related to mtvU Digital Incubator awards.
Executive Communications - Delivers Media and Entertainment customer briefings to the office of John Chambers. Conducts research M&E partners, taking strategic insights and editing them into highly focused briefing documents for the Cisco executive office and Dan Scheinman, SVP / GM, of Cisco Media Solutions Group.
