My former career was a special education teacher. As a teacher I worked with students with disabilities in an elementary setting. I became interested in real estate during my teaching career, due to influence from my wonderful grandmother who was involved in real estate investing her whole life. I started doing real estate "part time" in the summers, joining my first Keller Williams office, and then we moved to Cleveland, OH.

When I moved to Cleveland, I decided to do real estate full-time and I joined the KW office there. I sat on the Technology and Education committees as well as the KW cares volunteer committee. I spent a short time learning about short sales, foreclosures and from there we moved to Houston, TX.

When we arrived in this huge city, I realized it would be a diservice to my clients to sell real estate without knowing the areas. I was asked to take the Director of Agent Services position and continue my role of training and education.In this position, I worked with new agents getting them into production and training current agents in technology.

In the fall of 2008, I decided to start my own company to provide transaction coordinating services to agents in the Houston area. I currently assist in the listing and marketing process as well as handling contract to close. This has been both a challenging and growing opportunity for me. It has allowed me the flexibility to go back into production and determine where my services are most needed. I welcome new agents/new business in this business endeavor.
