Business Development Manager at Lee Hecht Harrison
Sydney Area, Australia
Keenly driven Business Developer who sees his role best defined as 'professional problem finder and solver'.
By creating value during the sales process as well as constantly thinking about how I can help customers improve their business I have moved away from the 'old' sales stigma and have become a 'business improvement consultant'.
I made my start in sales at grassroots. After working my way up in a very 'old school' number driven sales environment where I had the pleasure of managing a bunch of great people I transitioned into a start-up environment where I have had a 2 1/2 year stint as the sales & marketing leader of an ambitious, innovative Recruitment Process Outsourcing business in Australia.
In my current role I am in charge of generating new business growth while supporting our existing key customers plan and implement a workforce restructuring that maintains the support of the community, retained employees, partners, vendors, investors, and others.
GOALS:
As an ambitious student of sales & marketing best practices I am always looking to develop my knowledge base as well as widening my professional network.
My objective is to develop into senior leadership figure (medium term) and to run my own business in the long term.

My role within the business is to help our corporate customers plan, manage and maintain productivity as they transition individuals.
Why do companies work with LHH?
We work with a lot of businesses – but looking back at those hundreds of companies that we have worked with in 2008 alone I can usually find one of the following reasons why they brought us in as their outplacement partner.
• to efficiently plan and implement a workforce restructuring that maintains the support of the community, managers, retained employees, investors, and others
• keep retained employees engaged and productive
• redeploy affected employees to areas needing talent
• provide career transition services that support position as an employer of choice & brand equity
My focus is on achieving these key objectives for our customers during today’s volatile times of change.
