Christopher Hayes' Summary
I have practiced with Borowsky & Hayes LLP and its predecessor firm since 1996. As co-counsel in most of the firm's cases, I have successfully represented clients such as these:
• 60 physicians and allied professionals defrauded of their medical practice group, causing them tens of millions of dollars in damages: Partial settlement of nearly $5 million from the directors and officers of the business that defrauded them, and ongoing lawsuit to recover from their own financial advisor.
• A nurse manager fired for protesting violations of federal and state safety standards at a psychiatric ward for elderly patients: Substantial jury verdict, upheld on appeal.
• A physician improperly reported to the state medical board because he treated a patient at her request: Judgment restoring his record.
• An individual denied life insurance benefits when spouse's accidental death was wrongly deemed a suicide: Full recovery.
• Other individuals and businesses in employment, insurance, personal injury, and contract cases.
