    The consumer insight was that nuances in children's temperatures was an area of uncertainty and stress for consumers. The invention used a globally understood Green/Yellow/Red light to signal the severity of the temperature to parents. This drove differentiation and share gain despite a premium positioning in a private label retail atmosphere.
