Christine Peets' Education

Ryerson University

Bachelor of Applied Arts, Early Childhood Education

19711975

Ryerson Universtiy was at that time known as Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. That training gave me a good mix of theory and practice.
I have used my ECE training in my teaching as well as in planning workshops and conferences for parents, educators, health professionals, social workers, and municipal politicians. I have combined my ECE training and journalism in this conference planning and writing reports.

Activities and Societies: During my graduating year, we planned a conference for community leaders in Early Childhood Education. That gave me a good introduction to conference and workshop planning--a skill I've used many times.
