Concept Arist at Red Alert 3: Southern Rising
Greater Los Angeles Area
I currently am working freelance with a few projects at the moment, but would love to get a permanent, full-time or part time position in doing what I love.
Currently, I am working on Moddb with Seven-- a Half Life 2 and Red Alert 3: Southern Rising as a concept artist with both mods.
My continuing clients are with: Olive Jane with release paperwork and mailers as well as patterns for their women's clothing line- Retro Resort 2008 as well as assisting them with their website. I also work with List Caddy for graphic design for print packaging as well as original designs to be published ON their products. Currently, I am in the process in Workout On the Go's product design for a fitness show targeted for children in their concept and design department. I am also a Production Assistant with Ethereal Muse for their upcoming game, Encore.
I have done Character Concepts with ArcNovo, Inc. for their upcoming children's animation as well as designed Flash Ad banners for IMS Barter's ad campaign for Forbes.com. I have just completed SON's hip-hop album cover for Kingdom.
I am currently looking for something that will constantly challenge me and to grow bigger and better as an artist and as a person. I know I have the skills to implement it, but I hunger for the knowledge to acquire more. I do not mind if it is a long-term position or a freelance. Every bit helps.

August 2006 — August 2007 (1 year 1 month)
I did character concept art and environment concept art in order to set the feel and look of the game. I had to keep in mind that this was a game geared towards the younger crowd and more of an RPG feel.
I used Photoshop and Illustrator as well as a traditional background in design in order to create a feel that the character and environment fit the playful and strange setting of the story and characters themselves. Essentially, bring the game to life. I also counseled other artists in terms of technique and critique.

- did character concept as well as environmental concept work to create the look and feel of each scene of the commercial. I had to do extensive research on the items themselves, considering they involved technology-based models. I had to go for a present-futuristic feel to the scene. Photoshop and Illustrator were used as well as traditional media (pencil, pen, etc.).
Using 3Ds Max, I also modeled environmental assets for city (garbage cans, gas stations, light poles, cars, etc.) to country (shrubs, trees, rocks, etc.) settings for the entire commercial in all scenes.
