I am a Radio-Film-Television student at the University of Texas at Austin, with aspirations of working in the film industry as a director, editor, or screenwriter. I have 4 years of experience with AVID Media Composer, AVID Xpress Pro and AVID Mojo editing software, as well as experience with Panasonic AG-HPX500 P2 and Canon GL2 cameras and basic lighting. I worked for the last two summers and interned during my senior year in high school at a television station, gaining experience both behind and in front of the camera. I am passionate about a career in the film industry, as evidenced by the fact that I own my own camera, AVID software, and digitizing deck and have an extensive library of DVDs, instructional textbooks, and additional editing software. I am currently writing a fictional screenplay that I hope to direct one day. My written and verbal communication skills are strong, and I work well in diverse groups.
