Chris Siddall’s Summary

The Creative Concepts team at NCsoft Europe works as a 'crack team' conceptualising and implementing creative marketing projects that fall outside of the norm. To that end, we work both on commissioned projects, and those that we see an opening for, that we feel would add value to the relationship between NCsoft and its player community.

Some of the projects that I have worked on during my time at NCsoft include; editing and production of the Official NCsoft Europe Podcast; the planning, organisation and running of the company presence at various UK consumer and trade shows; conceptualising new marketing and merchandising schemes and products, researching resources and presentation of the ideas for consideration and implementation.

On a day to day basis I work with various departments within the company, but most often with marketing and community, as well as maintaining close contact with the player community.

Chris Siddall’s Interests:

Having had an education heavily steeped in music, I have a deep seated passion for composing, arranging and performing. I play violin and piano, and compose in a wide range of styles for everything ranging from solo instruments to full symphony orchestras and choirs. I pride myself on having an encyclopaedic knowledge of film, TV and video game music, as this is the area of music that I have focused myself on since college. I have a clear understanding and experience in writing these kinds of works, as well as being able to call on that knowledge to source music for licensing.
