Chris McElroy’s Summary
Chris has 33 years of experience in residential real estate sales in Northern Colorado. Chris has extensive experience in real estate sales, development, property management, and as an instructor in real estate finance, investment and taxation. He managed and owned a regional real estate company, and a major national franchise.
Involvement is the key to Chris’ success. With the Fort Collins Board of REALTORS® (FCBR), the Colorado Association of REALTORS® (CAR), and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) he has a long history of service. Chris was the President of CAR in 1994 and the 2000 Colorado REALTOR® of the Year. He has served on the NAR Board of Directors since 1993; was named NAR’s Home Town Hero in 2002; served as NAR Regional Vice President in 2007; and honored as the 2008 NAR President-Elect Nominee. Chris also served on the Freddie Mac Affordable Housing Advisory Board from 2002-2005.
Chris is currently training for his fourth Colorado MS150 Bike Tour (150 miles in two days), to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis.
