Just about four years ago I took on the responsibility of Senior Technical Services Specialist for the midwest for a large Software Company based in Denver, CO.

Oversee all prepress operations. Performed software and hardware support for the prepress department in a mixed Mac and PC network, across multiple locations. Being proficient in OS X, using QuarkXPress, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and other applications, I design, create, preflight, edit and prep files for both litho and flexo printing. I check all customer supplied artwork as well as create artwork for a variety of customers. I have experience using Artwork Systems' Nexus prepress workflow. I output digital color proofs including DuPont Cromalin b2 contract proofs and HP Color Lasers. I confirm line screen, angle, distortion, and emulsion. We can then keep an entire digital workflow by then generating 1-bit Tiffs that are sent to a Esko-Graphics Spark flexo plate setter.

I'm the poster child for new technology. I love technology and I love to find new ways that technology can make my life, and my families life easier. I'm a Macintosh freak, but I don't hate Windows, people just use what they know and what they like. I into Heavy Music. People grow up and I feel that they take their music with them. Just because you go to work, and now your are wearing a suit & tie, doesn't mean you don't listed to the music you grew up loving. Music is a way of life.
