Chris Freund is the founder and Managing Partner of Mekong Capital, an employee-owned Vietnam-focused private equity firm. With a team of around 40 full time people in our offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Mekong Capital is the largest and most experienced private equity team in Vietnam.

Mekong Capital manages three Vietnam-focused private equity funds: Mekong Enterprise Fund, Mekong Enterprise Fund II, and Vietnam Azalea Fund. The first two focus on fast-growing private companies, while the third focuses on pre-IPO and PIPE investments.
