Fashion Playtes (www.fashionplaytes.com) is an online custom clothing company dedicated to delivering both a fun and unique design experience and top quality garments to girls age 6-12. We offer girls the tools and a platform to create and design garments and accessories that can actually be produced to wear. Girls can define their own label ("Suzie's Designs") which will be sewn on the outside back of their garments. The product line currently features t-shirts, dresses, skirts, jackets and accessories and will continue to expand in the coming months.

NameMedia’s media network of 100 vertical online channels and brands generated over 50MM monthly visits which made it a top 20 Internet site. Media network technical challenges included a publishing platform to serve relevant content to over 1MM domains and optimizing PPC ad revenue. NameMedia was the industry’s largest marketplace for premium domain names. The domain marketplace challenges included building a secure e-commerce site, a platform to evaluate, acquire, and manage a 1MM domain portfolio, and an email marketing platform. Did diligence for and integration of acquired companies. Grew team from 7 to 24 engineers. Investors included Highland, Summit, and Bank of America. Over $175MM raised.

Founded Working Set and grew it to a staff of 25 and sales of $3M. Working Set was a skunk works that focused on ground breaking database product development. Working Set built and licensed VAX SQL to Digital. VAX SQL had the best TPC benchmarks on the planet for nearly a decade (until it was acquired by Oracle). We also built one of the first two WYSIWYG report writers, CA-RET, which we sold to CA. And we built DataRamp, which enabled database access over the internet. Our clients included Digital, Oracle, Computer Associates, INGRES, Microsoft, and Apple.
