One of three senior engineers/team leads/architects in the firm. Lead back-office integration of market maker into existing AD/Exchange/storage environments. Architected a multi-server Exchange 2003 environment and improved performance by offloading anti-virus and anti-spam workload to Barracuda appliances. Maintained firm's SEC compliance with an Iron Mountain based journaling solution as well as a WORM compliant storage solution. Architect of an Evault disk-based backup solution designed to maintain high-availability for all mission critical firm data. Designed storage environment consisting of a clustered NetApp 3020c solution that yielded higher reliability and increased storage capacity. Automated all Windows server maintenance to occur with minimal end-user interruption. Architected an Active Directory infrastructure to heavily utilize group policy to ease administration burdens. Trained staff to broaden Windows knowledge across the firm.
