Chris is an Ulster Irish man, born in 1976 to an northern English family who got lost in (and never left) the beauty and random moments of life in Northern Ireland.
A sheltered childhood of outdoor walks in the Antrim Glens, Cadburys Star Bar power and nettle stings, lead to a teenage life of too much Harp lager, more outdoor walks but slightly further away, photography, art, the internet and politics (Well, it was life in N.Ireland after all).
Learning to drive his mothers car - so he could then drive in the Antrim Glens - only fueled his curiosity to explore what was actually beyond them...
Thank goodness for boats and planes too.
Chris's curiosity has propelled his life to date from study in Manchester, to cutting his professional teeth in London and then S.E. Asia, based first in Singapore and more recently, since 2005, into the frenzied life of Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.
Over the years, somehow the photography, politics, internet and art of life turned commercial and Chris finds himself a UK Chartered Marketer and Managing Director of red | Brand Builders, Vietnam, focusing on building brands for some of the worlds largest brands.
Chris has a proven track record in planning, executing and evaluating brand building, digital and ECRM marketing services, with experience in UK, US and Asia Pacific markets - particularly in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Industry segment experience includes FMCG, Automotive, Financial Services, Personal Care, Airlines, Beer and Tobacco.
Chris is always up for meeting new people and trying new things and loves sailing, kayaking, scuba diving and the great outdoors - he can't stand snake wine - you can check out Chris' personal website here:
